1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VoxBrief ("the Service"), including our website at www.getvoxbrief.com, our mobile application, and any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VoxBrief provides on-demand audiobook summaries with synced text. The Service includes, but is not limited to, audio summaries, text transcripts, book metadata, and personalized recommendations delivered through our website and mobile application.

3. User Accounts

The current version of VoxBrief does not require account registration or login. Subscription purchases are processed through your Apple ID via the App Store.

If we introduce account functionality in the future, you will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

VoxBrief offers subscription plans through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to the pricing and payment terms presented at the time of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Refund requests are handled according to Apple's refund policies. VoxBrief does not directly process payments or issue refunds for App Store purchases.

5. Intellectual Property

All content provided through VoxBrief — including but not limited to audio summaries, text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to VoxBrief and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without prior written consent.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
Share, redistribute, or publicly display content from the Service without authorization.
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without prior written permission.

7. Content Disclaimer

VoxBrief summaries are condensed interpretations of published books and are not substitutes for reading the original works. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that summaries are error-free or represent the complete views of the original authors.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoxBrief and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by other means. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which VoxBrief operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
