Terms of Service
Last updated: May 8, 2026
Welcome to Voxbrief. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Voxbrief iOS application (the "App") and the website at https://www.getvoxbrief.com (the "Website," and together with the App, the "Service"), operated by Voxbrief ("we," "us," "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
If you are between the ages of 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.
2. Accounts
2.1 Account Creation
You may browse free content in the Service without creating an account. To purchase a subscription, redeem a promotional code, or restore purchases, you must sign in using one of the available methods (Apple, Google, or email).
2.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account and sign-in credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Notifying us promptly at support@getvoxbrief.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
2.3 Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the App: Account → Delete account. Upon deletion:
- Your access to paid content will end immediately.
- Your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Transaction records may be retained in anonymized form for financial compliance.
See our Account Deletion Policy for full details.
2.4 Data Migration
If you used the App before creating an account, your existing subscription and usage data (previously associated with your device) will be automatically migrated to your new account when you sign in for the first time. This is a one-time process to ensure continuity of your access.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
3.1 Subscription Plans
Voxbrief offers the following subscription plans:
| Plan | Price | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $8.99 USD | 30 days from purchase |
| Yearly | $59.99 USD | 365 days from purchase |
Prices are subject to change. Current prices are always displayed in the App before purchase. Prices may vary by region based on Apple App Store pricing.
3.2 One-Time Purchase, No Automatic Renewal
Voxbrief subscriptions are one-time purchases. They do not automatically renew.
- When your subscription period ends, your access to paid content will expire.
- You will not be charged again unless you choose to make a new purchase.
- We may send you reminders before your subscription expires, but we will never charge you without your explicit action.
3.3 Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. We do not directly collect or store your payment information (e.g., credit card numbers). Your purchase is subject to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases.
3.4 Subscription Stacking
If you purchase a new subscription while a current subscription is still active, the new subscription period will begin after your current subscription expires. Time is never lost.
If you redeem a promotional code while holding an active subscription, the redeemed time will be added to the end of your current subscription period.
3.5 Free Content
Certain content in the Service is available for free without a subscription, including:
- Content in the "Free" section.
- The first 3 minutes (audio and text) of any paid summary.
We reserve the right to change which content is available for free at any time.
4. Promotional Codes
4.1 General Terms
We may issue promotional codes ("Codes") that grant a limited period of subscription access (e.g., 1 month). Codes are:
- Issued free of charge as part of marketing promotions, partnerships, or customer support.
- Not available for purchase within the App or elsewhere.
- Not redeemable for cash, credit, or any other form of payment.
4.2 Redemption Rules
- You must have a Voxbrief account to redeem a Code.
- Each Code may only be redeemed once per user.
- Each Code may have a total redemption limit, an expiration date, a validity start date, and eligibility requirements (e.g., new users only).
- If you have an active subscription, redeemed time will be added to the end of your current subscription period.
4.3 Restrictions
We reserve the right to:
- Limit the number of Codes any individual user may redeem.
- Disable, revoke, or expire any Code at any time, for any reason.
- Refuse redemption if we reasonably believe a Code was obtained through fraud, unauthorized channels, or in violation of these Terms.
- Rate-limit redemption attempts to prevent abuse.
4.4 No Resale
Codes may not be sold, transferred for value, traded, or auctioned. Codes obtained in violation of this restriction will be void.

5.2 Our Role
